Job Description
Position Summary This is a non-supervisory role that is responsible for performing clerical duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to filling, sorting mail, answering phones and greeting visitors, assisting our MB Logistics Administrator and Materials Manager.
Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Organizational Relationship This position reports directly to the Materials Manager
Responsibilities - Answer the front gate and door. Call drivers and team members on intercom. Answer customer and vendor calls.
- Assists MB Logistics Administrator with order inquiries, order entry, cycle counts and material transfers
- Back up support for line replenishment and Hot List
- Support Shipping office with FedEx shipments and pick sheet sorting
- Assist Materials Manager with special projects (parts setup and inventory reviews)
- AS400 - Find parts and locations for drivers and team members
- Print pallet labels for Receiving team
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by manager

Characteristics & Attributes - Software knowledge: Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and function in a team-oriented, fast-paced, matrix environment.
- Strong communication skills - listening, verbal, and written
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Physical Requirements - Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves continually during working hours.
SHIFTS: - 1st shift hours: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, You will normally work this shift, however may need to work on Fridays based on company needs.

Qualifications: Qualifications
Education & Experience - High school diploma or GED equivalent is minimally required
- Microsoft Office
- 1-3 years in a clerical or support function
- 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing setting
