Delaware Nation Industries is seeking a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop and execute cyber security strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals. The selected candidate will play a key role in enhancing our information security posture and will be responsible for the assessment and management of cyber risks associated with our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams on cybersecurity best practices and solutions.
- Assess current cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls, and recommend improvements to align with industry standards.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity awareness training programs for staff to enhance overall security mindfulness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring compliance with established protocols and reporting requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and proactive measures.
- Prepare analyses and reports that communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
RequirementsQualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS controls.
Skills and Abilities: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in assessing security risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Certifications: - One or more relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ is preferred.
