As a Cybersecurity Manager, you will work with our clients on penetration projects as well as other aspects of cybersecurity.

Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Manager. This is a direct hire, full time position with CAI and is 100% remote.

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, US Citizenship is required to be considered for this role.

We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional. This position can be located anywhere in the US with potential travel required nationally.

The Manager will assist the Senior Manager and Executive Director of Cybersecurity with growing our Cybersecurity Practice. This individual will engage with clients to perform cybersecurity services, lead teams in assessments and projects, and manage/mentor junior team members.

What You'll Do
  • Participate in a series of planned security projects for external clients.
  • Collaborate with client leadership, team members and other stakeholders to understand their capabilities, and assess risks and cybersecurity maturity posture for clients.
  • Conduct and lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of the IT infrastructure for both compliance and security purposes.
  • Conduct and lead red and purple team exercises.
  • Facilitate social engineering attack methods for security and compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of the cybersecurity capabilities of operating systems, networking devices, and control systems.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned
What You'll Need

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant hands-on work experience in Cybersecurity or IT
  • Understanding of NIST, ISO, CIS and similar cybersecurity frameworks
  • Proven work experience in implementing successful security-related projects
  • Understanding of penetration testing, red & purple teaming
  • Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
  • Proven ability to interact and create a positive and collaborative working environment
  • Able to lead technical teams
  • Able to mentor others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
  • OSCP certification or similar is preferred
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
