Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking a
Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.
Key Duties: - Provide technical support for Local Control Center (LCC) activities, including Cyber Documentation, Semi-Annual Reports via the Enterprise Reporting System, and Command Cyber Operational Readiness Inspection (CCORI) oversight.
- Review and submit cyber documentation and reports in support of MDA systems.
- Collect, review, and submit required reports to the MDA Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) for BC test, training, remote site, and administrative systems.
- Maintain and update cyber libraries, eMASS records, and repositories containing documents, findings, and supporting evidence.
- Track and manage document submission schedules to ensure timely compliance.
- Gather documents from ISSOs, including updated network diagrams and Mission Relevant Cyber Terrain data.
- Prepare and submit Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance reports, equipment inventories, and System/Site Information Forms (SIF).
- Support BC data collection and artifact correlation for CCORI readiness.
- Collaborate with ISSOs to develop and implement cybersecurity compliance initiatives.
- Contribute to security planning, risk analysis, assessment, and certification activities for MDA systems.
- Support security control assessment, reporting, and monitoring through eMASS.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure effective task execution and minimal mission impact.
- Deliver concise, professional briefings to Government and Contract Leadership.
- Conduct security assessments, evaluate system posture, and recommend remediation priorities.
- Review system infrastructure and architecture to assess and align with security requirements.

- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. - Active Secret Security Clearance.
- 2 or more years of cybersecurity experience.
- Experience with eMASS, CTOs, ATOs POAMs.
- Experience with consolidating reports from ACAS, ESS, HW/SW Lists.
- Experience with STIGs. Security Classification Guides.
- Familiarity with DoD and MDA cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-53, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Current DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II certification.
- Associate degree (or higher) in Information Technology or a related technical discipline.
