Knowledge of the DoD and its components
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Knowledge of threat and user activity monitoring practices and applications
Ability to translate technology, intelligence, or cybersecurity information into enterprise-level reports and strategy documents
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelors degree and 10+ years of experience with cybersecurity or information technology matters, or 14+ years of experience with cybersecurity or information technology matters in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience within the DoD at a senior-level office or Joint Command
Experience overseeing a cybersecurity focused-team, project, or work effort
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and their applications
Knowledge of CATMS or a similar task management system to direct tasking across a broad organization
Ability to conduct required research and coordination to represent leadership intent and interests
Possession of excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, to communicate with executives and C-suite equivalence Additional Job Description: Provides support to DoD CIO through internal and external facing responsibilities to advance User Activity Monitoring (UAM) through policy, advocacy, outreach, technical assistance, discrete research projects, and related programs in support of the rest of a working group, of which the coordinator will facilitate. Provides expert-level record keeping including detailed notes of all working group meetings. Provides day-to-day support to the DoD CIO with documentation, draft policy recommendations in preparation for project timeline questions and clarifications; as well as gather, collect, receive, organize, monitor, and track multiple actions, documents, and contracts on behalf, in support, and under the guidance of the government representative.
