Digital Consultants is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to provide cybersecurity support services in support of Counter-UAS and traditional Airspace Security networks and systems for a sponsor located in Washington, DC. We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who is eager to enhance their technical expertise while ensuring the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of critical systems.

Duties to include:
  • Lead complex cybersecurity tasks to completion within scope and budget.
  • Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
  • Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network; assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure; and respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
  • Serves as a senior-level cybersecurity SME within the team.
  • Assume responsibility for contributing to work plan development, reaching project milestones.
  • Lead specific cybersecurity project tasks.
  • Conduct analysis of appropriate consulting tools to satisfy program requirements and create project deliverables.
  • Perform analyses and make diagnoses, as well as define symptoms and problems, and develop conclusions.
Requirements

Education:
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent
  • Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
  • Certifications:
  • IAT Level III Certification
Experience:
  • Ten (10) years of experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
