Roles & Responsibilities
- Projects in-flight will need to be supported via an on-call roster 24x7 during its operational deployment. Enterprise Network Operations Center, Cyber Operations teams and/or IT System support Admins may contact these resources for troubleshooting purposes.
- On-call acknowledgement for afterhours support; Within 15 minutes
- Available/online to support afterhours emergency; Within 30 minutes after on call Acknowledgment
- Provide guidance and examples to other engineers for the documents and deliverables to assure consistency in the Project Delivery Methodology, and occasionally leads initiatives toward process and project delivery improvements.
- Work with other Engineers, Architects and Product Specialists to ensure that the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements.
- Provides critical support function for Solution Engineering design decisions during plan, analyze, design, build, test, and deploy phases of IT projects.
- The work product has a potentially significant impact (financial, public perception, operational, legal) on the Company; incumbent and the team represent the company's interest in a project with clearly "high stakes" under general guidance.
- Level of expertise is recognized as the authority for a project or initiative; incumbent performs moderate to complex and/or novel assignments with few precedents in an autonomous fashion with minimal guidance.
