Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Cybersecurity Engineer - E5: Collaborate with Operational ISSOs, system owners, and other functional areas to ensure the security of the fielded system Work on creating/updating Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for RMF Authority to Operate (ATOs) Apply cybersecurity capabilities such as patch management, multi-factor authentication, host-based security, intrusion detection, and security event management Participate in the Agile Development Lifecycle, including generating requirements, architecture design, configuring Cyber audit tools, conducting verification, and performing Cyber vulnerability and configuration activities This is a full-time position requiring U.S. Citizenship due to security clearance and government/federal contracts held by our client Required Skills for Cybersecurity Engineer - E5: IAT Level 2 certification and Secret Clearance required at start Strong working knowledge of Cyber capabilities and Information Assurance (IA) technology, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Controls Experience with creating/updating Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for RMF Authority to Operate (ATOs) Familiarity with hardening Windows and Linux servers and workstations in accordance with GPOs, IAVMs, and STIGs Excellent technical document preparation and verbal communication skills What's in it for you?
