In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to monitor and enhance the security of our network, while also evaluating new technology advancements.

Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility is mandatory for this position. Selected applicants will undergo a thorough security investigation and may need to fulfill eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required for obtaining a clearance.
Requirements: - DoD 8140 IAT Level III or IAM Level III certification
- Deep understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity policies
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities: - Continuously review and monitor network security boundary architectures using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
- Conduct log analyses with Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) and SolarWinds Event Manager (SEM) tools
- Investigate new technology capabilities concerning security issues and provide informed recommendations to the ISSM
- Maintain Privileged User's Standard User Agreements (SUAs), Privileged User Agreements (PUAs), System Access and Authorization Request (SAAR) forms, and track annual training and certification status
- Oversee the cybersecurity workforce (CSWF) for the program in line with current DoD standards
- Monitor SIPR for CTO notifications, check relevance, research implementation requirements, and submit responses as needed
- Gather and assess site documentation from new sites while coordinating with site POCs for annual updates to ensure compliance with all security regulations
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical or cybersecurity field preferred
Compensation: At SimVentions, salary is influenced by various factors, including experience, education, training, security clearance, location, skills, knowledge, and competencies-all in alignment with our corporate compensation strategy and contract requirements. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100,000.00-$160,000.00 (USD). This estimate represents the standard salary range for this role and is just one part of the overall compensation package offered by SimVentions.
