Be part of a dynamic security engineering team working to capture, define, architect, develop, integrate, and sell-off products to government customers. In this role, you will support tasks such as the following under the direction of the cyber engineering lead:
• Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with planning, design, development, validation, and verification of Cyber solutions across the lifecycle
• Serve as cyber representative to non-cyber teams supporting requirements understanding, collaborative engagement, and solution identification and implementation
• Assist with development of Cyber Plans and Procedures The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of:
• Linux (e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu)
• Infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Ansible)
• Vulnerability scanning and patching
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a TS/SCI with a background investigation successfully completed within the past 5 years Occasional travel within the United States may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of or experience with:
• Acceptable degree programs will include science and technology related programs such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics etc.
• Infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Ansible)
• Experience with vulnerability scanning & report generation
• Experience developing configurations for and hardening Linux
• Current DoD 8570 baseline certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH, CySA+, etc.).
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US Citizenship.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required with a background investigation successfully completed within the past 5 years
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of:
• Understanding of process to obtain ATOs and Risk Management Framework, (RMF) NIST SP 800-53
• Experience with generating Bodies of Evidence (Sec. Test Plans, checklists, STIG reports)
• Experience with virtual machine hardening and STIG compliance
• Experience with Ansible Playbooks and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or other networking products
• Strong understanding of System Security Engineering (SSE) principals and process
• Advanced Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) NIST SP 800-53
• Knowledge of RedHat Linux Operating System (7.X or 8.X)
• Experience with Fortify and/or similar Static Code Analysis tools
• Experience with Cross Domain Guard solutions

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $118,700 - $209,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
