As a Cybersecurity Consultant IV in the role of an Information Systems Security Engineer
(ISSE), you will lead the design and implementation of security architectures for complex
information systems. Your expertise will ensure that security requirements are effectively
integrated into system designs, safeguarding organizational assets against cyber threats. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of security architectures and engineering designs for new and existing information systems Analyze and translate security policies and requirements into technical solutions Conduct system security assessments and provide recommendations for improvements Collaborate with system architects, developers, and other engineers to integrate security controls into system development lifecycles Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and processes to enhance overall security posture Mentor junior security engineers and consultants, sharing best practices and knowledge Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline 10-14 years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in security engineering roles In-depth knowledge of security engineering principles, risk management frameworks, and system security architectures Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies Strong leadership and project management skills Advanced certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, ISSEP, or equivalent are preferred
