Cybersecurity Communications Specialist to support one of our State Agency customers.
Support Cybersecurity incident management communication, both verbal and written. Role is critical to scaling out the communications function within cybersecurity and has direct involvement with leadership-facing documentation. Supports regulatory readiness and clarity in internal security communications and will help improve efficiency and automation over time.
Key Skills: - Must-Haves
- Minimum 5+ years in communications, documentation, or related roles
- Strong professional communication and writing skills
- Ability to craft clear, narrative-style and bullet-point style reports from technical/cybersecurity data
- Experience producing presentations, how-to guides, and standardized documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and shared drives for documentation
- Comfortable auditing and rewriting content for clarity and structure
- Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of GLBA or other regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with cybersecurity terminology or environment
- SharePoint/Teams automation experience
- Experience working with confidential or leadership-level documents
- Experience in financial services industry

- Create, update and maintain cybersecurity procedures and playbooks
- Compile Weekly and Monthly incident management reports for internal stakeholders
- Provide quality assurance on incident management data to ensure complete, accurate and consistent entry
- Monitor adherence to cybersecurity incident management procedures and protocols
- Organize and retrieve documentation required for internal audits
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive incidents, investigations and vulnerabilities
- Track and status small communications related projects
- Provide assistance in maintaining SharePoint and team and integrating process flow to streamline activity.
Education: Bachelor's degree (required)
