Mission

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety

Job Description:
  • IT Architect: Builds and maintains IT UAF models.
  • Designs and develops platform to host a global web publishing operation in support of a New Media Initiative or web-based MISO program.
  • Ensures the platform is scalable and reliable to ensure maximum uptime as well as secure to protect from intrusion and denial of service attacks.
  • Implements the platform under the control of an automated configuration management framework.
  • Provides in-depth knowledge of information security.
  • Holds responsibility for the architecture of the data framework that is required by the operations to collect and make available program performance metrics.
Education & Experience: BA/BS or equivalent, 20+ years of experience

Certifications:

Required: Security + or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP
  • Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation - ITSM Certification within the first 9 months
Desired: GIAC Certified Information Security Professional (GISP) or Certified Information Privacy Professional/Government (CIIP/G) or GIAC Web application Defender (GWAPT); OMG Certified SysML Modeling Professional (OCSMP)

Location: Onsite - Offutt AFB, Nebraska - Relocation may be available

Clearance : Must be willing to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility

The likely salary range for this position is $191,412 - $258,970. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
