CYBER VULNERABILITY ANALYST Join our team as a Cyber Vulnerability Analyst and play a critical role in the security of US government and military systems. In this position, you'll evaluate vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and infrastructure, providing essential recommendations for securing high-impact strategic assets. Your work will help ensure that our nation's defense systems are resilient against cyber threats.
THE JOB - Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments on operational and developmental networks and systems.
- Identify and analyze security risks within network infrastructure and recommend mitigations.
- Collaborate with US government and military customers to address security gaps and reinforce critical systems.
- Produce detailed evaluation reports, outlining vulnerabilities and recommended remediations.
- Assist in developing network security protocols, ensuring compliance with DoD standards.
- Participate in reviews and discussions on cybersecurity best practices to enhance evaluation methodologies.
THE REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in network vulnerability assessment and familiarity with tools used for cybersecurity evaluations.
- Knowledge of DoD standards for information security, with experience in compliance and assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and remediating security weaknesses.
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is mandatory.
THE EXTRAS - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python for developing automation scripts is a plus.
- Familiarity with threat analysis techniques and tools.
