As a Cyber Systems Operations Specialist, you will design, install, and support our systems to ensure their optimal functionality and protect them from potential threats. REQUIREMENTS Before joining the Air Force, you must meet a range of criteria related to your background, health, and other standards set by the Air Force, the Department of Defense, and federal law.
Minimum Education • Age: You must be between 17 to 42 years of age
• Citizenship: You must be a U.S. citizen
• ASVAB: Obtain a qualifying ASVAB score. High school students can begin their application process at the end of their junior year.
ASVAB SCORE REQUIREMENTS • 45 Mechanical (M) and 60 Electronics (E) or 45 Mechanical (M) and 55 Electronics (E) and a 60 on the Cyber Test.
Qualifications - Strong knowledge of cyber system elements
- Successful completion of the Cyber Systems Operations Initial Skills course
- Current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) status
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Age requirements: Must be at least 17 and under 42 on the date of enlistment
