Responsibilities Program Description: The program provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) core and non-core support in the areas of Cyber Security and Management to improve the Information Assurance (IA) posture of a National customer. The contracts Core Capabilities are: IA Management, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) coordination and reporting, Risk Management Framework (RMF) application, IA compliance measurements and metrics, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Defense support. Position Description: The Cross Domain Systems Engineer will support the design, integration, accreditation, and sustainment of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) used to securely transfer information between networks of differing classification levels within Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) environments. Daily Tasks include, but are not limited to: Lead and manage the delivery of CDS solutions, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
Prepare and present regular program status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders
Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and resource allocations
Ensure compliance with DoD/IC requirements, acquisition processes and policies
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, cybersecurity, and test organizations
Participate in lab testing, pilot deployments, and operational transition of CDS technologies
Manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary
Qualifications Required Qualifications: BS 8-10, MS 6-8, Phd 3-5
Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
Able to support customer's core hours (; Mon - Fri)
A Cyber Certification (DoD 8570/8140)
5+ years of Systems Engineering (configuration management, requirements management/writing, architecture, interfaces) experience, preferably in DoD or IC environments
Experience leading projects or diverse teams in a DoD or government contracting environment
Understanding of network architectures, TCP/IP, firewalls, data guards, and security protocols
Demonstrated analytical skills, communications skills (verbal and non-verbal) and ability to interface with both technical and non-technical, internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the NIST RMF, associated A&A documentation and POA&M management Demonstrated expertise and experience in cybersecurity principles
Desired Qualifications: 2+ years of hands-on experience with CDS design, deployment, or maintenance
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification (e.g., DAWIA)
Knowledgeable of customer's infrastructure
Familiarity with customer's IA processes
Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervision
Experience briefing senior customer personnel
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast pace deadline driven environment
Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain
