Program Overview Provides IC data management support to modernize mega data repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions. About The Role Peraton is looking for a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join our high-performing Cyber Intelligence team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This is more than just a job. What You'll Do: Administer and support robust virtual environments and Linux-based systems
Lead implementation, maintenance, and recovery efforts to ensure system stability and resilience
Apply and maintain compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Analyze and improve system build documentation and operational procedures
Contribute to system architecture and design decisions
Support a mix of cloud technologies and modern automation and monitoring tools

Fifteen years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required (Five years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree)
Strong Linux administration w/scripting experience required
Experience supporting the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware Working knowledge and understanding of system administration inter-dependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
DOD 8570 IAT II required, preferably Security+Desired Qualifications: Experience installing and configuring software applications
Ability to adjust to an ever-evolving environment
Basic network understanding
Practical experience with scripting languages i.e. shell, YAML and JSON
Experience integrating with configuration management systems (e.g., git)
Experience implementing and managing system monitoring applications (e.g., Nagios)
Experience with automation / deployment packages (e.g., Ansible, terraform, packer)
Experience with Virtualized Cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Openstack, VMWare)
Experience maintaining accredited (ATO) systems
Experience implementing and maintaining STE/STN requirements and associated applications (XACTA, LatteArt, Biscotti)
Experience with CI/CD Deployments
Experience with Confluence & the Atlassian Suite
Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on our critical National Security programs, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan. SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
