HX5 is currently seeking a Cyber Security Support professional for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Advanced Training Division (AFLCMC/WNR) at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. Ess ential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to support system Authorization and Accreditation. Ensure personnel meet DoD cybersecurity certification requirements and assist in enforcing compliance. Monitor system access/integrity and report security incidents/vulnerabilities Assist in implementing DoD, USAF, and MAJCOM cybersecurity policies, and ensuring IA/Cybersecurity requirements align with DoD standards. Aid in developing and reviewing cybersecurity artifacts, including IASs, SSPs, ISAs, SCGs, PSDs, mitigation strategies, and configuration management reviews. Offer recommendations for storage, data retrieval methods, system security, and program protection plans. Help design, evaluate, and document hardware/software system architectures, functional specifications, and security implementations to meet cybersecurity requirements. Balance security risks with costs and ensure security integration in weapon system contracts. Apply knowledge of computer science, information management principles, and automated data processing techniques to resolve automation problems and assess vulnerabilities. Support system development and modification and assist in database integration and simulation modeling. Educ ation and Experience: Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: Masters or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years' experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years' experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD OR fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD Must have a working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours. Other Position Requirements: Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance by date of hire. Must be able to travel, including air travel.
