Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, including Azure, Defender, Intune, and Microsoft 365 Security.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with CMMC standards.
  • Design and implement security solutions to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
  • Respond to security incidents and provide thorough investigations and reports.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Manage and configure security tools and software to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on security best practices and protocols.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure secure configuration and management of cloud environments, particularly within Azure.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of data protection policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external security vendors and consultants as needed.
  • Prepare and present security reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Implement and manage network security measures, including segmentation and access controls, to protect sensitive data and systems.
  • Employ security best practices to ensure the highest level of protection for the organization's digital assets.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, including CMMC and other industry-specific requirements.
  • Participate in compliance audits and assessments, providing necessary documentation and support.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
  • Working knowledge of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Defender, Intune, and Microsoft 365 Security.
  • Experience in security implementation and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of network security principles and practices, including network segmentation and access control.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with other security frameworks and standards.
  • Knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention.
  • Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
