Idaho Power - located in vibrant Boise, Idaho - is looking for a Cyber Security Program Manager to join our Corporate Security team. It's an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. Our work plays a critical role in communities we serve across Idaho and Oregon, and we're working hard to safely provide our customers with the reliable, affordable, clean energy they depend on. While this position is based at Idaho Power's downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.

What does a Cyber Security Program Manager do for us

They manage and lead a variety of projects within the organization and facilitate the planning and prioritization of complex zero-trust initiatives. Additionally, they will inform on Idaho Power's overall cyber risk management posture and strategy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in cyber security, information systems, business management, or computer science
OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred:
  • Master's degree in cyber security
Experience:
  • 5 years of directly applicable experience in project management, with a focus on IT security, identity management, and cloud technologies
Preferred:
  • Experience managing highly complex technology projects including but not limited to enterprise-level technology implementations
  • Managing purchased solutions that include management of a vendor and/or contract resources
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position
Preferred:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, Security+ Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. The above is a summary of the primary essential functions of the position.
