The Cyber Security Engineering and Administration Manager will support all business units within Mosaic
Health and is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization's
cyber security infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of cyber security engineers and administrators
to ensure the protection of information systems and data. This role will develop strategies to safeguard against
cyber threats, ensure compliance with security policies, and maintain the overall integrity of the organization's
cyber security posture.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of cyber security technologies and solutions, such
as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
• Ensure the continuous operation and optimization of security systems to protect against cyber
threats.
• Develop security dashboards, metrics and benchmarks to drive security posture improvements.
• Lead and mentor a team of cyber security engineers and administrators, fostering a collaborative
and high-performance work environment.
• Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in cyber
security technologies and practices.
• Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies and roadmaps aligned with
organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to integrate security measures into technology projects and
initiatives.
• Oversee the development and execution of incident response plans to address and mitigate security
breaches and incidents.
• Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure
effective resolution and communication.
• Ensure adherence to relevant cyber security regulations, standards, and frameworks, such as HIPAA,
NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Zero trust, and OWASP.
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to the
organization's information systems.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to address identified security gaps.
• Prepare and present cyber security reports and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incidents.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in cyber security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related
field.
• Extensive experience in cyber security engineering and administration, with 6+ years in
managerial or leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing and implementing complex cyber security projects.
• Strong understanding of cyber security technologies, including network security, endpoint
protection, data protection, identity access management, application security and cloud
security.
• Proficiency in security tools and platforms, such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability
management tools.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly
desirable.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a
technical team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to security challenges.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
• Stay current about the latest cyber security threats, trends, and best practices.
• Experience with security frameworks and methodologies applicable to the healthcare industry
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Physical Demands
