Cybersecurity Engineer
Previous Experience
- Possess a working knowledge of network technologies such as: Windows, Linux Operating Systems; Database security, Active Directory, Service Oriented Architectures, vulnerability testing, networking protocols and topologies, and security architectures.
- Develops technical solutions including information operations and analysis related to security intrusion analysis, systems and vulnerabilities, network security, advanced analytic tools, data visualization techniques.
- Be well versed in RMF and ATO life cycles and NIST 800.53 rev 5 and their controls. Be able to write, present and provide guidance to C level leadership on RMF, ATO and NIST 800.53 rev 5 guidelines.
- Have familiarity with strategic implementation of major SIEM, SOAR, EDR, ITSM and ICAM/MFA tools.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related discipline
- 5 years of related experience.
- CISSP or equivalent certification is required.
At least 4 years of experience with all the following:
- Configures/tests the Windows/ Red Hat - RHEL systems
- Configures/tests an Active Directory domain
- Configures/tests Elastic SIEM
- Configure and upgrade Tenable Security Center
- Configure and upgrade VMware Hyper-V Hosts
Experience with the following tools:
- CyberArk
- Elastic
- Splunk
- JIRA
