Contract Cyber Security Engineer - Onsite (Chicago)
Sesheng Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Contract Cyber Security Engineer in Chicago. This is an onsite opportunity requiring the selected candidate to work from in Chicago office from day one. As a key member of the security team, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining various security tools and technologies to protect the organization's assets.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of endpoint, email, and web security solutions.
- Manage and support Access Management and Privileged Access Management (IAM & PAM) systems, including Active Directory.
- Participate in the design and implementation of security architectures for hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues across various platforms.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the secure implementation of new systems and technologies.
- Participate in security audits and assessments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with endpoint security tools and technologies (antivirus, EDR).
- Demonstrated experience with email security solutions (anti-phishing, spam filtering).
- Hands-on experience with web security technologies (web application firewalls, content filtering).
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Access Management and Active Directory (IAM & PAM).
- Experience in designing and implementing security measures for hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CISSP, Security+, or other relevant information security certifications.
- Experience with specific security vendors and their product suites.
- Knowledge of relevant security frameworks and compliance standards.
