Cyber Security Engineer, Staff to join our team in
Chantilly, VA . The ideal candidate will provide unparalleled support to our customer and begin an exciting and rewarding career with ManTech.
Responsibilities: - Provide Network Administration, O&M, and Help Desk support for a compliance and data protection project and other systems dealing with Identity and Access management.
- Support Agile engineering and daily scrum meetings.
- Ensure assigned deliverables and project milestones are met.
- Assist with DevOps implementation and automation.
- Ensure the system is in full compliance with all Government regulations, policy, and Directives.
- Communicate and interface with project stakeholders on the status of project and trouble resolution.
- Support system patching, security scans, and the RMF process. Provide status reports.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or 4+ additional years of technical experience in lieu of degree
- 1+ year of relevant hands-on technical experience
- Experience with Linux (RHEL) OS
- Experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA and ServiceNow
- Must have or be willing to obtain an IAT Level II certification such as Security+ within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with system development and engineering support activities
- Experience with VMWare/VM's/Cloud computing
- Experience Apache Tomcat and LDAP/Directory experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools
- Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting
- Knowledge of Java Programming
- Knowledge of databases and SQL
- Knowledge of IT compliance and data protection for secure environments is desirable.
Security Clearance Requirements: Physical Requirements: - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
