THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION . HOURS ARE 1PM - 10PM, MONDAY - FRIDAY We are seeking a
Level II Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will gain training and hands-on experience in configuring, administering, and maintaining industry-leading security platforms. You will play a crucial role in securing our environment by leading investigations into cyber threats such as malware infections, phishing campaigns, and network intrusions. We are looking for problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are enthusiastic about protecting information systems from cyber threats.

Responsibilities: - Configure and maintain security tools to enhance the organization's cybersecurity defenses
- Monitor security systems and analyze events to detect and address potential threats
- Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.
- Conduct technical risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams on security investigations and response efforts
- Support security automation and integration initiatives to improve efficiency
- In concert with the computer incident response team (CIRT), responds to network intrusions by identifying the source of the intrusion and associated attack vector(s). Develops and implements remediation plans
- Maintain continuous education in cybersecurity utilizing our innovative training platforms, staying up to date with emerging threats, evolving technologies, and best practices
Qualifications: - Three to five (3-5) years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
- Ability to learn and adapt to the changing threat landscape and cyber concepts
- Experience with endpoint detection and response, SIEM, SOAR, email gateways, and asset tracking systems
- Up to date with the latest developments and trends in cybersecurity solutions and integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with other departments to provide information, support and collaboration of ideas, standards, and goals
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to provide on-call support on a rotating basis when needed
- Perform duties with minimal management oversight
- Must be willing/able to provide occasional 24 x 7 On-call support on a rotating schedule throughout the year
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
