Job Title: Cybersecurity System Analyst (Secure Software Development)
Location: Offutt AFB, NE
Clearance Required: Secret (minimum)
Certifications: CASP CE, CISSP (or Associate), or CSSLP Position Summary:
The Cybersecurity System Analyst will provide technical support for the development,
assessment, and documentation of STIG compliance artifacts across the IT enterprise. This role
focuses on applying secure development methodologies, analyzing software baselines against
STIG requirements, and producing compliance reports to support the Wing's cybersecurity
posture and mission readiness. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing required technical artifacts to meet DISA STIG and AFLCMC
cybersecurity requirements
Engage with software sustainment personnel to assess system baselines against STIG
checklists
Prepare, document, and deliver individual compliance reports for each assessed
baseline
Analyze STIG discrepancies and provide technical guidance on required remediation
steps
Ensure accuracy and completeness of security documentation in accordance with
Government standards Required Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience in:
Secure software development
Applying DISA STIGs to computer software
Software development methodologies and compliance documentation
Proficiency in:
Java or J2EE development environments
Fortify and CodeSonar security scanning tools
DISA Application Security and Development STIG Additional Requirements:
Ability to translate complex STIG findings into actionable compliance tasks
Strong analytical skills to evaluate software security baselines and recommend
corrective actions
Experience producing high-quality technical documentation and audit-ready compliance
artifacts
