The Cyber Security Analyst will play a crucial role in implementing security measures to detect and combat malicious activities, ensuring compliance with USAF and DoD standards. You will contribute to risk assessment efforts and provide actionable remediation recommendations, while also supporting the supplier risk management lifecycle and insider threat programs.
Roles and Responsibilities - Independently achieve daily objectives with a significant impact on operational outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and client project teams to implement security solutions and processes.
- Represent Leidos on various technical review and inspection teams.
- Coordinate system security compliance efforts and facilitate Information System Authority to Operate.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to established security policies and procedures.
- Alert the organization to changes that may affect information system authorization.
- Evaluate system security threats and risks, ensuring thorough assessment.
- Validate and analyze system security requirements.
- Support the assessment and authorization process as needed.
- Track security incidents, investigate, document, and report findings while recommending future protective measures.
- Assist DoD, the Air Force, PMOs, and vendors in developing and executing assessment and authorization (A&A) processes.
Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering (preferred) and 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 5+ years of experience. Additional experience and advanced certifications may substitute for a degree.
- Proven experience in information security.
- Current Top Secret SCI security clearance required.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliance.
- Familiarity with the RMF process, eMass, and XACTA workflow tools.
- Experience with relevant Air Force systems and databases.
- In-depth knowledge of military IT policies and procedures.
- Cloud computing experience, specifically with AWS and Azure.
- Maintain current ADLS and/or INSCOM training certifications.
- Experience in supporting Air Force ISR operations.
Preferred Education/Experience: - AWS Security Engineering Course completion.
- ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional training.
- ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional training.
- Certification as a Certified Information Security Manager.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Air Force ISR units.
