As a Cyber Security Analyst, a typical day will include the following duties: Description GCI is looking for an expert-level Cyber operations Support specialist to work to a variety of cyber security projects for a key mission area. The successful candidate will be a critical part of the team, both working on project teams and leading key portions that will drive the success of overarching program goals. Collaboration experience is necessary in order to meet project requirements by working with dispersed teams and experts of differing technical understanding. Tasks Data triage Key fact identification Presentations of technical information to non-technical audiences Use of new and existing methodologies and resources Develop leads Apply lessons learned from data analysis to new and current projects Requirements: Demonstrated experience with computer network infrastructure, including hardware aspects Demonstrated experience with network security concepts, exploitation concepts, and tools Previous work with computer and network operating systems Understanding of technical design and work with engineering documentation Exposure to, including use of, open-source cyber security tools Scripting ability - multiple languages Knowledge of specialized tools and how they can be used in your projects Desired Skills Ability to integrate quickly into an established team and work collaboratively to solve problems Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to write sponsor-specific communications documents Specialized experience with the sponsor Education Requirement BA/BS (or equivalent experience) Experience Requirement 11+ years of experience Equal Opportunity Employer / Individuals with Disabilities / Protected Veterans
