JOB SUMMARY Corvus Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Research Analyst - Senior to support the 2d Battalion Red Team Detachment (RTD), specifically within the Close Access Section (CAS). This role is critical in advancing cyber threat emulation and supporting national security initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong military intelligence background, technical expertise in information assurance, and the ability to operate within a sensitive, high-stakes environment. This position requires coordination with mission stakeholders, creation of training materials, and active involvement in security assessments. RESPONSIBILITIES Support Close Access Section (CAS) operations under the Red Team Detachment to emulate real-world adversarial threats.
Coordinate, develop, and deliver training materials in accordance with Government-provided guidelines and mission-specific objectives.
Conduct detailed assessments of cyber and physical security practices as they relate to Information Assurance and Force Protection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security vulnerabilities in systems, architectures, and human processes.
Leverage knowledge of adversary TTPs to simulate realistic attack scenarios.
Contribute to mission reports, debriefs, and feedback loops to improve security postures.
Maintain operational readiness and mission alignment in support of red team objectives. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: In-depth knowledge of military intelligence frameworks and cyber operations.
Understanding of OPSEC, physical security, and DoD Information Assurance principles.
Comfortable with facilitating and presenting technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with adversary emulation techniques, red teaming, and human-based social engineering tactics.
Ability to work in sensitive, classified environments with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications include: Minimum of 3 years of Military Intelligence (MI) experience with a Bachelor's degree (7 years of experience with a high school diploma).
Must hold a DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification (e.g., A+, CCNA, CND, Network+, SSCP) or higher. Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
Understanding of OPSEC and physical security implications for cyber operations.
Demonstrated experience developing mission-relevant training and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting vulnerability assessments across systems, networks, and facilities.
Familiarity with adversary emulation tools and scripting custom scenarios.
Hands-on knowledge of Red Teaming operations and exploitation of both technical and human-based vulnerabilities.
Experience in Counterintelligence (CI) or Human Intelligence (HUMINT) operations.
Photography skills that support intelligence documentation or reconnaissance efforts.
