Cyber Operations Lead Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO Shift: Days, M-F Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time All candidates must have an active Secret clearance or above. This position is expected to pay $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. Responsibilities: The Cyber Operations Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will: Work with hardware engineers, software engineers, and test teams developing, testing, and deploying cyber tools for compliance initiatives. Contribute to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities of CLAW systems. Gather data and prepare documentation in support of patching and STIGs to support the cyber compliance of CLAW systems. Support the CLAW Cyber Teams by ensuring Battle Rhythms are kept up to date and adhered to for all day-to-day tasks. Coordinate actions and efforts as needed with appropriate team members, internal and external teams, customers, stakeholders and leaders to effectively execute tasks, solve problems and develop solutions with minimal to no mission impact. Understand security vulnerabilities in various SW and HW platforms and be able to recommend mitigations. Develop and coordinate all authorization documentation associated including the Systems Categorization, Systems Security Plan, and Systems risk assessment. Coordinate with Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Cyber Vulnerability Management Team to meet Cyber requirements. Brief Government and Contract Leadership in a confident, concise and professional manner. Conduct assessments of information systems security requirements, evaluate current security posture and recommend priorities for remediation. Review information system infrastructure and application architecture to assess security requirements. Assist the CLAW Cyber Team to perform and document risk assessments, analyzing security vulnerabilities, and the metrics to measure the risks associated with those vulnerabilities. Coordinate actions and efforts as needed with appropriate team members, internal and external teams, customers, stakeholders and leaders to effectively execute tasks, solve problems and develop solutions with minimal to no mission impact. Assist the CLAW Cyber Lead with projects, tasks and the day-to-day Battle Rhythms of the CLAW Cyber Team. Have other cyber duties as assigned. Basic Requirements: Must be a US citizen. Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance. Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 4 years of general experience; Master's degree and 2 years of general experience. Must have 6 years of Cyber Security and/or IT experience. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a management or leadership role.
