We are hiring a Cyber Network/Defense Analyst to work on our contract with DCSA in Quantico, VA, Hybrid 60% remote Location: Quantico, VA Russell Knox Building (2 Days Onsite is a MUST) CLEARANCE LEVEL: Active Top-Secret Clearance Required This position will provide cybersecurity expertise to install, operate and, maintain cybersecurity monitoring tools for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, Cyber Defense Operations team JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Cyber Network/Defense Incident Responder you will be a crucial member of our cybersecurity team focused on defending and safeguarding the integrity of our clients' network infrastructure. You will play a vital role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to ensure the highest level of protection against cyber threats. EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of Cybersecurity experience Monitor network traffic for security events and anomalies, investigating and responding to potential incidents. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks. Analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to identify patterns and trends indicating potential threats. Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and anti-virus solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security improvements and measures. Perform incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents. Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to enhance the security posture. Participate in the development of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices. EDUCATION: Associates or Bachelor's Degree, in Cybersecurity, and/or Information Systems Management or equivalent experience CERTIFICATION(S): DD8140/DoD8570.01-MIAM II or IAT II requirements at time of onboarding.
