Insight Global is looking for a Cyber Assessement Specialist to support one of our large financial clients. This person will be tasked with supporting our client's cybersecurity contracts and assessments function and working through new and backglogged assessments from our client's customers. They will actively participate in the intake process as well as initial drafts of cybersecurity and risk assessments. They will be working from soup to nuts - from intake of new assessments, to conducting these assessments, and communicating back to customers any recommendations or changes based on our client's policies and procedures. They will be expected to support other business units in negotiation and communication of contractual assurances that are consistent with, and supportable by, our client's information security program.
This person must be able to influence various groups and stakeholders in order to drive participation and buy-in, therefore strong written and verbal communication are must-haves. This individual will serve as an Information Security subject matter expert. Other responsibilities include managing governance routines, including process documentation, playbooks, and tool refreshes.

Skills and Requirements
3-5 years experience in information security policy/standards and/or information security compliance, with an emphasis on assessments (third-party, risk, etc).
Effective verbal and written communication skills must be able to explain key concepts and concerns to non-experts and reconcile those issues with written/contractual requirements.
Critical reading skills
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate internally and externally, both orally and written, at all levels (Senior, Mid-level, etc.).
Attention to detail in written communications.
Significant experience in presenting at all levels.
Self-starter, comfortable operating in the grey and making recommendations for next steps; strong problem solver.
Strong relationship management skills: high level of interpersonal skills to interact with leaders at multiple levels and drive projects across various business units
Familiarity with cyber standards (i.e., NIST, ISO, or equivalent policies and standards).
Familiarity with JIRA or similar Agile-methodology tools ( Asana, Trello, etc) Previous experience within the financial services industry null
