Role Summary: Are you ready to take your logistics career to the next level? As a Logistics Coordinator at ISS, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth handling of Customs and HMRC Clearance for Deep-Sea Containers & Road Freight. You'll manage container transportation and oversee POs data in our MRP system, ensuring timely delivery and avoiding demurrage charges. Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers, vendors, shippers, carriers, and all involved parties to set clear expectations.
  • Liaise with the Warehouse Team on container arrivals and daily plans.
  • Create and maintain HMRC Customs Handling documentation and Prophet Arrival Planner.
  • Verify key data elements for compliance with federal/international regulations.
  • Complete IPAFF and HMRC CHIEF Declarations and manage Customs Clearance Agencies.
  • Manage daily arrivals with transport companies and update Purchase orders with clearance invoices.
  • Approve transport and customs-related invoices and create expense POs.
  • Maintain Team Rota, process holiday authorizations, confirm time sheets, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Ensure all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are accurately documented and maintained.
  • Attend customer meetings as necessary.
  • Foster professional skills development and attend apprenticeship meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCSE level education in Math and English or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of experience in customs handling.
  • High-quality administrative process knowledge.
  • Confident decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet challenging deadlines in a pressurized environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work.
  • Initiative and ability to work unsupervised.
