We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our Technical Support team. The Customer Support Representative will serve as a critical link between our customers and our internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate handling of customer inquiries, returns, and repair processing.
Position: Customer Support Representative
Location: Hudson WI
Terms: Temp-to-hire
Hours: 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay: $18/hour plus significant bonus after hire on.
Key Responsibilities: - Phone Support: Answer and screen incoming phone calls, directing customers to the appropriate support technician or the sales department.
- Return Authorizations: Issue Return Authorization (RA) numbers for products being returned for credit or repair.
- Receiving and Documentation: Receive incoming returned products and generate the necessary RA paperwork in a timely manner.
- Repair Status Inquiries: Respond to customer questions regarding the status of their repair requests.
- Customer Contact for Repairs: Reach out to customers with repair estimates, COD amounts, and payment method options.
- Data Entry: Enter parts orders, repair requests, advance replacements, return authorizations, and credit memos into our accounting/RMA system.
- Generate return shipping labels via UPS World Ship and send them to customers via email.
- Returns Coordination: Coordinate the return process for shipping or order entry errors and follow through to ensure products are returned as required.
- Payment Processing: Process customer credit card transactions accurately and securely.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional administrative and customer support tasks as required by the department.
Requirements: - Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Proficient in general PC usage and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, or a secretarial role.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with accounting or RMA systems and shipping software (e.g., UPS World Ship) is a plus.
