Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Customer Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a technical college degree, extensive computer IT experience, and the ability to support various hardware devices, including mobile computers, cellular routers, and satellite terminals. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and occasionally on-site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware devices such as mobile computers, cellular routers, and satellite terminals.
- Assist customers with software-related issues, particularly in Windows and iOS environments.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely resolution of customer problems.
- Conduct on-site repairs and maintenance as needed (some travel required).
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills to provide the best support possible.
Qualifications:
- Technical college degree in a relevant field.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in customer support.
- Strong computer IT skills, including experience with hardware support.
- Familiarity with Windows and iOS environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for on-site repairs when necessary.
Exhibit patience when dealing with complex cases.
