Position: Customer Support & Retention Specialist (8-Week Contract)


Location: Phoenix, AZ preferred (Remote for the right candidates)


Compensation: $20/hour


Duration: 8 weeks (April 21st - June 15th, including training)


Availability / Shift: 10am - 6pm PST Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs Full availability required May 15th-17th during our flagship Thrive in 2025 virtual event

As we gear up for our biggest launch of the year - Thrive in 2025, a high-impact 3-day virtual event - we're hiring 4 contract Customer Support & Retention Specialists to help deliver an unforgettable experience to thousands of inspired customers across the globe.

The Role:

As a Customer Support & Retention Specialist, you'll be on the frontlines supporting our customers via email, phone, live chat, and text. You'll be cross-trained in both support and retention strategies - ensuring our customers feel confident, seen, and supported.


During the Thrive in 2025 event (May 15-17), it's all hands on deck. You'll play a vital role in real-time support, keeping our community engaged and ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide multichannel support (email, phone, chat, text) for account, billing, product, and technical inquiries.
  • Deliver empathetic and solutions-focused retention support to customers facing obstacles or cancellations.
  • Offer real-time technical assistance and encouragement during Thrive in 2025 to thousands of active participants.
  • Log and document all customer interactions in our CRM for accurate tracking and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Keep the energy high and the customer experience outstanding.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer support, retention, or event-based service (SaaS a bonus).
  • Proficient with CRMs like HubSpot, Helpsuite, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Fast thinker, detailed note-taker, and cool under pressure.
  • Evening/weekend flexibility and 100% availability May 15-17.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative remote team.
