PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a
Customer Support Specialist to serve as the key link between our customers and cross-functional teams. In this role, you'll support the Program Management team to deliver exceptional service, ensure operational efficiency, and help drive success across complex, high-impact projects.
What You'll Do As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll play a central role in delivering a world-class customer experience. Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned customers-handling inquiries, issues, updates, and project communications
- Supporting Program Managers in coordinating project timelines, documentation, and customer deliverables
- Utilizing ERP systems and customer portals to manage order entry, data accuracy, and project tracking
- Organizing and participating in customer meetings, visits, and conference calls
- Preparing and managing RFQs, quotations, correspondence, and documentation trails
- Maintaining compliance with all contractual, export (EAR & ITAR), and quality requirements
- Collaborating with internal departments (Engineering, Planning, Quality, Materials, and more) to meet customer specifications and schedules
- Processing returns, managing credit issues, and resolving discrepancies
- Contributing to process improvements and supporting a culture of continuous excellence
What You Bring Required Qualifications: - Associate's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Exceptional communication skills-both verbal and written
- Strong organizational abilities and the capability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with ERP systems (Infor preferred) and customer portals
- Familiarity with Aerospace, Defense, or Electronic Manufacturing industries
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, or ISO13485 quality standards
- Understanding of export compliance regulations (EAR & ITAR)
- Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and technical documentation

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
