Bell Piney Flats Customer Support Team

Come join the Bell Piney Flats Customer Support team and help ensure best in class service to our customers. In this position, you'll support Bell's Component Repair & Overhaul business by serving as a main point of contact for customers & Bell facilities worldwide. As a Customer Support Specialist you'll have the opportunity to leverage your skills as a team player, hone your customer service skills, and grow your career.

What you'll be doing as a Customer Support Specialist
  • Maintain direct contact with customers by phone and email to ensure constant flow of communication on component repair status.
  • Assemble quotes while working with Overhaul, Logistics, and Procurement teams, and submit quote approvals.
  • Correspond with various internal departments to address customer inquiries, including Logistics, Maintenance, Overhaul, Purchasing, and Finance.
  • Liaise between customers, the Overhaul Shop, and Procurement to ensure on time project completions.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with customers and Bell personnel.
  • Achieve CPR sales set for in annual operating plan.
  • Seek out and identify customer property return opportunities.
  • May have occasional face to face contact with customers.
  • Make recommendations to the manager to develop and execute plans to make department more profitable by reducing cost and increasing base.
  • Assist with process improvement and maintaining department work instructions.
  • Work closely with repair and overhaul vendors to support customer and Bell's inventory needs.
  • May perform customer billing and invoice preparation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you need to be successful
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer support/contact or similar experience required.
  • Experience with MS Office programs. (Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional education such as an Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Background in aviation may be a plus.
  • Understanding of Visual, SAP, or related systems may be a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
  • Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
