Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience throughout the entire loan or pawn process by informing customers and making personalized recommendations that meet their financial needs.
  • Support customer account management (collections) by processing payments, scheduling, and managing customer appointments.
  • Achieve company performance goals by developing business relationships, obtaining referrals, and engaging in community and in-store events.
  • Foster customer relationships to drive new business, enhance store profitability, and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Accurately enter and maintain customer information within the Point-of-Sale system.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in continuous training to remain current on our products and processes.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to meet both individual and team performance objectives.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with customers and team members at all levels.
  • Commit to a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including some weekend shifts, totaling at least 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to navigate phone systems, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and various software applications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required (certain state and local applicant exemptions may apply).
  • Physical demands include standing or sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, moving around the store, and operating a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • At least six months of experience in customer service or cash handling.
  • Background in retail, financial services, loans, banking, or the service industry.
