Who You Are:

You are a dedicated customer support specialist passionate about providing exceptional service. With solid data entry experience, you prioritize customer needs and satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Delivering outstanding customer service by handling inquiries via phone, fax, or email. This involves obtaining, analyzing, and verifying order information swiftly and accurately, and initiating corrective actions as needed. You will also identify potential sales leads and collaborate with the project manager and account managers to develop service strategies.
  • Answer customer service calls promptly within three rings.
  • Process and verify orders accurately using the company's CRM system.
  • Maintain and update customer order information and relay changes to relevant departments.
  • Proofread orders to ensure accuracy before confirmation.
  • Coordinate with scheduling and production teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Redirect complaints regarding product or service failures to the appropriate department.
  • Conduct follow-up calls within three hours for customer inquiries.
  • Prepare price quotes for items not listed in the price book.
  • Collaborate with other branches to resolve issues and enhance service quality.
  • Address customers' technical inquiries regarding products and services.
  • Update quote status post-order to ensure clarity for the sales team.
  • Participate in regular customer service meetings.
  • Engage in the organization's continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
  • Assist team members and cover additional duties as required by management.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in the glass and aluminum industry preferred.
  • Proven customer service experience is essential.
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining organized, efficient, and accurate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong conflict management and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective listening skills for data collection.
  • Ability to perform calculations related to discounts, commissions, and basic geometry.
