As a Customer Support Representative, you will be the direct link between Verizon 5G and our valued customers in St. Louis. Your expertise in understanding needs, patiently addressing concerns, and providing clear solutions will be paramount in maintaining high customer satisfaction, fostering loyalty, and reinforcing Verizon 5G's reputation as a reliable and innovative service provider.


Key Responsibilities of the Customer Support Representative

  • Main point of contact for Verizon 5G customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email.

  • Accurately and empathetically inform customers about 5G plans, device features, service functionalities, and promotions clearly and concisely.

  • Efficiently diagnose and resolve diverse Verizon 5G customer issues, including basic connectivity, device, and service troubleshooting.

  • Process service activations, modifications, upgrades, and cancellations accurately and in strict compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions within the customer relationship management (CRM) system.

  • Educate customers on self-service options, provide guidance on optimizing their 5G experience, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance their service.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with technical support, billing, and other internal departments to ensure complex issues are escalated appropriately and resolved promptly.

  • Consistently adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) and strive to exceed customer satisfaction metrics in every interaction.

  • Gather and effectively relay customer feedback to relevant internal teams, contributing to ongoing product improvements and service enhancements for Verizon 5G.



Minimum Qualifications of the Customer Support Representative:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required; some college coursework or a Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, call center, or direct client interaction, ideally in telecommunications or technology.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with a clear, empathetic, and professional approach across all channels. Able to explain technical details to non-technical individuals.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to efficiently diagnose customer issues, provide effective solutions, and perform basic technical troubleshooting.

  • A genuine customer-centric approach, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction in every interaction.

  • Proficiency in navigating CRM systems and customer service software, along with strong command of standard office productivity tools. Ability to quickly learn new systems.

  • Proven adaptability and resilience to handle high-volume inquiries, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be a resident of the St. Louis metropolitan area or possess a strong understanding of the local community.
