Responsibilities:
- Assist team members experiencing challenges in their roles by providing hands-on training and guidance.
- Communicate with customers and internal suppliers to provide product and service quotations, lead times, and fulfill requests.
- Supervise a team of three Customer Service Representatives.
- Train and mentor the customer care team to enhance performance and service quality.
- Allocates resources and assigns tasks efficiently to ensure the team meets its key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support the Sales Administration Manager in daily operations to drive overall success.
- Foster consistent and effective communication with all inside and outside sales representatives.
- Delegate customer service tasks to team members to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
- Accurately process orders and maintain all related documentation, including generating necessary reports.
- Coordinate as needed with corporate ordering portals and catalogs to streamline order fulfillment.
- Recommend products to customers upon request and provide additional sales support as needed.
- Maintain close communication with the manufacturing team to ensure quoted delivery dates are realistic and align with the company's delivery program guidelines.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in a customer service position - manufacturing industry is preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
- Proficiency in any ERP or CRM is required. Preferably SAP and Salesforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite required
- Excellent email and phone étiquette
- Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and written to customers
- Must be a self-starter, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Proven ability to lead in a team environment
