Job Title: Customer Service Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH
Pay Rate: $30 - $40 per hour (equals $62K - $83K per year).
This is an estimate, as compensation is based on skills and experience levels.

Customer Service Technician

Our customer base is comprised of companies in the transaction processing, financial, computer service provision and semiconductor manufacture sectors. Hiring company provides innovative products to ensure ultimately high uptime of computers, servers, routers, communication equipment and other critical equipment. Company manufactures "Best in Class" products representing high-end industrial solutions. Company is on a trajectory of sustained growth, with a loyal base of existing Fortune 100 customers and an expanding portfolio of new customers. To meet the challenge of growth and opportunities, company is seeking additional Customer Service Technician to join the Customer Service Team.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
This position includes the following primary duties:
• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on company equipment:
o Static transfer switches
o Power distribution equipment
o Remote power panels
• Provide customer support while on site and via email and phone
• Maintain timely and detailed service records in the company's system
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents
• Regularly scheduled time slots for 24/7 incident response
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION:
• Service experience with electric power systems - Required.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills - Required.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics - Required.
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs - Required.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge - Required.
• Associate degree in electrical field - Preferred.
• Electronics or electrical training from military service - Preferred.
• Clean driving record - Required.
• US Citizenship or C1 Permanent Resident Alien status - Required.
WORK LOCATION:
• Training to be conducted at company Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio.
• Field service work is performed at customer sites through the US and Canada. Travel is required.
• At times, weekend or possibly holiday work will be required.
