Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 38 hours per week
Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.50 Year 3 - $21.00 Year 4 - $21.00 Year 5 - $22.00
Key Responsibilities: - Provide valuable product feedback to management and suggest new items or discontinuations.
- Discuss team responsibilities and resource allocation with leadership.
- Communicate regularly with management regarding store operations and updates.
- Ensure compliance with customer satisfaction guidelines and maintain store cleanliness.
- Handle operational customer concerns in the absence of management.
- Maintain a safe environment by identifying hazards and ensuring proper equipment function.
- Organize and merchandise products attractively to maximize sales.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure adherence to handling guidelines.
- Assist in product ordering and train new employees effectively.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience operating a cash register.
- Ability to operate necessary equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of budgeting and personnel management principles is a plus.
This role requires physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and stocking merchandise up to 45 pounds.
