This position is vital for the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will collaborate closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, respond to inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest the best solutions. You will play a crucial role in resolving any customer concerns, ensuring maximum satisfaction, and staying informed about product features while maintaining the high quality and visual standards of both products and the store.

Your primary responsibilities will include achieving outstanding customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales goals.

This role involves direct contact with customers and access to cash and various payment methods, equipment, and merchandise, which may require supervision. Given this, a review of criminal history is essential to ensure the safety and reputation of Sherwin-Williams, our customers, and employees.

We are currently offering this part-time position at Store , located at 1170 Us Highway 41 Bypass Venice, FL 34292, with up to 28 hours per week and a starting hourly wage of $16.75.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Assisting customers in-store and over the phone by identifying needs and presenting suitable products and services.
  • Building trusting relationships with clients.
  • Accurately processing sales transactions according to company policies.
  • Aiming to meet and exceed sales goals on a regular basis.
  • Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas.
  • Handling product retrieval from shelves and the warehouse.
  • Mixing and tinting products as per customer specifications.
  • Stocking shelves and creating appealing displays.
  • Performing general cleaning of store equipment.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of store areas.
  • Keeping updated on product offerings and discussing available options with customers.
  • Adhering to inventory control policies.
  • Identifying and suggesting improvements to enhance sales.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country without sponsorship.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles.
  • Experience selling paint and related products.
  • Familiarity with mixing and tinting equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language, especially Spanish, is a plus.
