Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Specialist, where you'll play a key role in supporting managers in enhancing sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining the store's appearance and operations. In this critical role, you'll also take on shift management duties when the Assistant or Store Manager is unavailable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service to both retail and professional customers.

Oversee customer service standards in the retail showroom, ensuring effective execution of customer service initiatives.

Answer all phone inquiries in accordance with company policies.

Ensure timely processing of online orders, hub transfers, and direct orders, while keeping customers informed regarding shipment arrivals.

Handle special orders and external purchasing efficiently, utilizing our electronic order management system.

Process customer returns and exchanges swiftly and amicably, ensuring accurate refunds and proper staging of returned merchandise.

Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is properly invoiced before leaving the store.

Communicate important updates and oversee assigned merchandising tasks to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Supervise team members to ensure adherence to the work schedule, with any changes being approved by management.

Conduct all opening and closing tasks, including cash handling and securing the store as per company guidelines.

Perform additional duties as required.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Able to obtain RSS Certification
Preferred:
  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
  • ASE Certification
  • Fluency in additional languages, especially Spanish
