As a Customer Service Specialist at CMA's Rocky Mount Toyota, you will:
  • Greet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival.
  • Offer coffee, water, and assistance to customers while they wait.
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom to ensure a comfortable atmosphere.
  • Assist with answering phones when needed, directing calls to the appropriate department.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, embodying the welcoming and polished image of Toyota
  • Uphold a professional dress code and appearance at all times.
  • Assist dealership staff with additional customer service-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency for using customer management software and completing digital paperwork.
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Valid Driver's License
Physical Demands
  • Sitting for periods while handling contracts, completing paperwork, or working on a computer.
  • Frequently walking throughout the dealership and lot to check inventory, or meet customers.
  • Standing for extended periods while assisting customers or participating in sales events.
Work Environment
  • Working in a bright, clean, and professional showroom where vehicles are displayed.
  • Schedule can vary based on dealership hours and sales events. Schedule often includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for car shopping.
  • Typical dealership sounds include conversations, phones ringing, and occasional vehicle noise from test drives or nearby service departments.
