As a Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding service to both retail and wholesale customers. Your main responsibilities include understanding customer needs, addressing queries about our innovative products, and providing tailored recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.

In this dynamic role, you will also resolve customer concerns efficiently while staying informed about our product features. Additionally, you will uphold the high visual and quality standards of our store, contributing to both customer experience and store sales targets.

Your engaging interactions with customers will involve assisting them in person and over the phone, building trust relationships, and effectively processing sales transactions. You will work towards achieving sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, while maintaining organized work order files and product inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assist customers by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately in accordance with company policies.
  • Achieve sales goals consistently.
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
  • Handle product management, including stocking shelves and setting up displays.
  • Be knowledgeable about products and options available to customers.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance sales.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for work visa status.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Previous experience with selling paint or paint-related products.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
