Requirements: To excel in this position, a background in retail and call center environments, along with pharmacy experience, will serve you well. A high school diploma or General Educational Development certificate is required, and you should be able to type at least 35-40 words per minute. A proven customer service background and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office are essential, as is the commitment to obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 12 months of your hire date.

Job Duties: As a Customer Service Specialist, your day will involve addressing inquiries utilizing pharmacy applications and vendor platforms for accurate data entry to enhance patient care. You'll be expected to protect customer information in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act while ensuring that all tasks are conducted accurately and using a customer-first approach that aligns with company and patient policies. Managing and resolving challenging customer situations professionally will also be a key part of your role.
