Customer Service & Sales Support Coordinator

Location: Rockland County, NY

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour + Benefits

Employment Type: Full-Time


LHH is working with an established and dynamic company seeking a Customer Service & Sales Support Coordinator to join their team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service, efficient order processing, and reliable logistics coordination. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, direct inquiries appropriately, and monitor voicemail messages.
  • Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to ensure timely and accurate order processing for key accounts.
  • Manage local customer orders from entry through fulfillment, shipping, billing, and payment.
  • Handle in-person transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments.
  • Receive and process telephone orders, maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct quality control checks on outgoing shipments using established procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with the Production department to ensure product availability and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with trucking companies to maintain timely deliveries; research new carriers when needed.
  • Maintain organized filing of order documents and shipping records.
  • Utilize EDI systems to check for purchase orders and invoice customers.
  • Support food safety compliance by monitoring visitor logs and maintaining general site security.
  • Process sample and promotional item requests, and prepare materials for trade shows and events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with a sales or customer service background.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry systems.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
